This culture-based opportunity is with a global branded entertainment agency focused on creating innovative programs, campaigns and experiences for its brand clients. The agency was co-founded together with a well-known Grammy award-winning DJ/Producer. The agency is seeking a Brand Partnerships Manager to join its team in charge of handling on-going client projects and driving new business leads for North America. The candidate will primarily focus on supporting the Deputy COO in driving new business leads locally by presenting the agency’s services to new brands and agencies, as well as answering briefs from global brands and agencies.
What you’ll be doing:
Sales & Business Development
Prospect for new brand & agency contacts.
Pitch & present to qualified leads and existing clients.
Build a prospective sales pipeline alongside the rest of the team.
Assist the Deputy COO and global team on answering brand briefs and working on on-going projects.
Strategy & Project Delivery
Answer briefs from global brands by building strategic recommendations.
Create clear, compelling presentations with PowerPoint and/or Keynote to formulate response to brand briefs.
Connect with talents and talent managers to discuss prospective opportunities and/or ongoing opportunities.
Global Team Support
Support global team across offices (UK) on different ongoing and future projects.
Provide occasional support to the Global Head of New Business.
Reporting to Deputy COO (Brooklyn)
Who you are:
Strong passion for Music and Entertainment, including knowledge of ongoing music trends.
Strong analytical skills & business flair.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field.
2-4 years of experience in a sales and/or advertising and/or marketing role; an agency background or experience within marketing or strategic planning is a plus.
Ability and interest in cold calling and new business development.
Capacity to communicate clearly, efficiently.
Ability to multitask; have a strong sense of initiative.
Computer skills required (proficient in PowerPoint, Keynote, Excel, Word is essential).
