Help brands lead Culture, not follow it.

You’ll lead. You’ll inspire. You’ll grow. You’ll do all those things for both the agency and the client.

This shop is bringing to life the heart of sport’s global appeal. They’re bringing streaming music to the masses. They’ve created an athletic shoe designed for a fictitious insurance agent to network programming that was sold to TNT. They’re re-designing a State Seal as they’re completely changing the look of the state’s basketball team. They’re making health care meaningful to 20-somethings. They’re creating a documentary on one of this Country’s most misunderstood Presidents. They do all of this and then some.

To be a success, your clients will value you and view you as a strategic partner critical to the success of their marketing and advertising challenges. They will look to you for guidance and counsel. Your team will respect you, and they will like you. They’ll appreciate that you help them grow and develop. You’ll spend your time with a proudly diverse crew…in backgrounds, accents, and fiercely held personal passions. Unapologetically ambitious, but also a tight-knit team, they are, in every sense of the word, independent – not beholden to anyone else’s agenda and not a pawn on the chessboard of some communications conglomerate.

The Account Supervisor is responsible for overall agency service and activities on one or more accounts, as well as daily coordination with NYC staff. The AS will also work towards building strong, lasting client relationships based on progress in achieving the clients’ integrated marketing objectives with efficiency – resulting in profit for the agency. You are alert and aware of opportunities to grow accounts, able to provide clients with unsolicited, team-generated ideas on improving their business. You assume a leadership role in the preparation/execution of client meetings and effectively manage the production process, ensuring the utilization of appropriate agency departments. Please have 5+ years of agency/communications experience that provides an understanding of advertising, marketing, media, creative, production, PR, research, agency finance, etc.

This global, multi-award-winning shop is a growing branding and design agency with studios in the heart of London and New York. What started as a creative collective of content creators has become a full service ad agency, with a fresh start-up studio in Brooklyn. Thanks to several major project wins, they’re looking for someone to become a key part of their NYC team. They need a confident, self-starting Account Manager with the ability to understand client’s business needs very quickly; a complete finisher who takes ownership and makes delivery happen. Someone to be the day-to-day representative, managing every aspect of delivery on a range of projects for a load of clients, from property to charities to hoteliers.

In short, you will have these things:

  • Minimum 4 years’ boutique agency experience
  • Branding, design and property experience
  • Strong client presentation skills
  • Mid-level experience, but looking to climb

  • Able to start ASAP

And the role will include these things:

  • 6-month role (with potential to go perm)
  • Annual salary up to $75K
  • Hourly rate during freelance portion of assignment up to $75/h

In a little more detail, you’ll be doing these things:

You’ll be the main point of contact between the London creative team and your clients. You’ll ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, keeping track of timings, milestones, budgets and resources across all your projects.

Working with internal team members to help define project scope, resource requirements and cost estimates for projects, you’ll produce relevant roadmaps, schedules, costings, and technical specifications. You’ll provide effective direction to ensure that clients, creatives and client-servicing team members are up to date on developments.

You will identify, communicate and escalate any issues like project delays and cost over-runs, and communicate with all stakeholders, managing the clients’ expectations and advising on actions. You’ll work with the wider client services team to define the scope of campaigns, and produce detailed plans encompassing project stages, delivery dates, budget and resource requirements and accurate statements of work.

Previous relevant agency experience in a similar role is a total must, and you’ll be well-versed in delivering branding, print and digital projects all the way from concept to completion.

PLACED: Managing Director, US; $200K+; NYC

Expert. Leader. Business focused. Curious. Accountable. Detail driven. Adventurous. Humble.

Take the reins at a leading global design shop and strategic creative consultancy that takes a different approach to building brands that profit and prosper, today and tomorrow. With respectful defiance, they challenge clients by asking bigger questions that will deliver smarter, future-proofed solutions. Teams work without borders, being where and when they need to be, to create braver strategies that ignite all-encompassing brand programs that resonate with consumers and drive commercial success. With a legacy of design excellence and deep consumer understanding, the agency puts those strategies into action, executing consistent and compelling communications that transform brand fortunes, solidifying their place in the world. Beyond brand guardianship, their thrill comes from innovation projects that cause positive disruption in the market. Stimulated by creative thinking, you’ll help inspire clients to not only challenge categories but to conceive entirely new ones, to transform obstacles into opportunities, and to take up an ambition to usher in momentous change that will truly benefit people’s lives.

A well-seasoned strategic leader, the Managing Director’s role is to be the complimentary counterpart to the CEO, helping to align the operational, client relationship and cultural success of the agency; also responsible for implementing and driving US strategy and for delivering US financial performance. This will be the person who gets stuff done and empowers others to perform at their best. Initially the focus will be driving new positioning and proposition of the company offer, to future proof collective commercial success, differentiate the brand offer and fuel growth in new market areas. This will include leadership, direction and performance assessment of the US team. In addition this role will drive new business development, through pitch mentoring, participation where necessary, and external brand building activities. Also expect senior level/C-suite engagement of key client relationships.

You will have a fundamental understanding of the branding industry and the ability to get under the skin of clients and understand what makes them tick. You must understand what clients want from their agency and have the ability to help deliver it. The successful MD will be a natural strategist and thought leader who will help build, inspire and nurture a strong and collaborative team; ensuring reporting on revenue, utilization and profitability; and managing to target levels of revenue growth and profit. Highly connected and passionate, you are client and business driven (grow existing clients, revive old contacts, and above all get new clients) and believe that branding and visual design are the cornerstones of a long-term powerful consumer connection.

Seeking candidates with proven agency management experience, an entrepreneurial spirit, a strong network and a track record for securing new business and growing existing client business. With a start-up spirit, you are graduated from a business communication university and have 12-15+ years of experience working in a design/ad agency or similar. CPG experience a plus.

PLACED: Account Supervisor, $80-95K, NYC

Creatively-driven ad shop with solid leadership and extensive creative accolades is seeking to expand their savvy Account team.  This eclectic, hard-working community harnesses the power of collaboration and understanding between brand, agency, and consumer.  The Account team functions across all known (digital/tv/print/ooh/etc) and as yet unknown media channels to deliver successful client campaigns focused on creative and supported by strategy.  Ideal candidates will find excitement in evolving non-traditional solutions to a variety of brand hurdles. As this is a nimble agency, driven and polished Account folks will be “in the trenches,” though thoroughly supported by a full Account team.   An entrepreneurial spirit, true passion for creative, and the drive to sell through progressive work is a must.  Global experience is a plus; previous ad agency experience is required.

We are searching for a seasoned Account Supervisor to join the agency’s lifestyle/sports/fashion client team. As the global AOR for the brand, we’re looking for someone who can merge with the well-established account team in place, working with extremely collaborative and creatively driven clients to create award-winning creative work. Structurally, we are looking for someone who can help manage the team’s AE and AAE and work into an AD and GAD, with a high level of autonomy, and develop strong relationships internally with the strategy and creative teams.

We’re looking for someone excited about executing traditional and non-traditional campaigns, ranging from large budget TV spots and print work, through to more tactical activation pieces. Someone who can also work well to maintain and enhance work with partner agencies in the US and Europe, from strategic development through to production and delivery. With clients based in Europe, there are lots of opportunities for travel, including dozens of shoots each year. The ideal candidate will therefore enjoy production as much as the vast strategic challenges that this fashion/lifestyle/sports category brings.

Ideal candidates will have around 5-7+ years of experience, hail from a rigorous agency background, and are looking for a new challenge at a small/medium creatively-driven shop.

Great, right?!  Shoot your resume to hunter@thehuntinglodgenyc.com.  Not for you?  Please pass this on to a friend and get someone working.
