At core, the ED, Packaging is responsible for the impactful creation of shelf-back, social-ready 2D designs and package design layouts that help drive overall brand strategy. You understand that packaging is the key sales vehicle and design with consumer shopping habits in mind, across all channels (travel retail, specialty multi, department stores, online) in partnership with visual merchandising & store design. Strong in industrial design, this seasoned ED leads teams in concepting and ideating product designs (primary packaging) in line with brand needs and market trends, bringing packaging newness to product innovations while staying true to heritage facets of the brand identity. Utilizing retail expertise, the ED designs across various consumer touch points, including specialty-multi and open-sell as priority, with a strong focus on social/e-commerce. Partnering with other departments to ensure omni-channel connectivity, you leverage knowledge of competitive landscape and trends, always having a finger on the pulse, gaining inspiration from everywhere.
