Award-winning business communications agency is seeking a Group Strategy Director for their mid-sized B2B branding shop. This role will manage US and global projects for clients in finance, consulting, technology and healthcare, etc. This person will help guide other junior Strategists in crafting engaging client deliverables. Qualified candidates will be part of an established team with a track record of strong client relationships and streamlined, proven methods and processes in brand strategy disciplines. Candidates should be well versed in areas such as the following, in order of importance:

-Corporate brand architecture analysis and recommendation development

-Brand strategy development including positioning, archetypes, brand essence, etc.

-Messaging strategy, including voice

-Nomenclature strategy

-Naming development

-Brand launch and rollout plans

-Marketing strategy and campaign strategy development

-Content strategy

-Developing creative briefs for advertising and visual identity

-Qualitative research including discussion guide development, conducting in-depth interviews and focus groups

-Quantitative research including questionnaire development, survey programming and analysis

-Ability to lead, train other mid-level and junior strategists

From day one, qualified candidates will be able to lead these types of projects, providing guidance to both team members and clients, using expertise and anecdotes from past experiences on brand strategy projects. For example, regarding brand architecture, you should be able to explain what it means at a corporate and product level, why it’s important, what basic portfolio strategies entail, and know how to go about developing a solution for a corporate client.  In addition, ideal candidates will posses:

-Ability to interface with and be the primary point of contact for C-Suite executives

-Strong writing prowess, including the ability to write articles and thought leadership pieces for publication

-Confidence and poise in speaking and delivering compelling presentations

-Comfort and experience managing various priorities and solving problems proactively

Global insight and strategic branding group is seeking to add an inspirational Research Director to their nimble and entrepreneurial team.  These folks believe research should be creative, rigorous, and flexible.

The Research Director will have various responsibilities including client management and drafting proposals, to workshops and creation of documentaries, reporting, new business pitches, invoicing, strategic initiatives, conducting various modes of research (ethnographies, shop-alongs, in-depth interviews, moderation of focus groups, etc.), development of junior staff, operations/P&L.  An important aspect of this role will also be helping to develop and secure new business either through existing or forged relationships.  Present projects touch on myriad categories such as CPG, technology, retail, hospitality, lifestyle, etc.  Enjoyment is key; please love what you do.

YOU are a talented senior researcher, planner or strategist with an involved, passionate, connected, collaborative spirit. You are smart, ambitious, exciting, a strategic thinker up for the challenge of growth.  You’ll need to be able to win business from and work with some of the most cutting edge clients that are out there. You’ll want to work on some of the most exciting projects in research and brand development with some of the most experienced practitioners. Further, a forward-thinking qualitative researcher with 7+ years experience (planning, brand consulting and/or research), involved in all stages of the research process, from designing and setting up projects and conducting fieldwork, through to analysis, report writing/storytelling and presenting findings. You must have experience leading projects and being the main client point of contact.  You should relish the idea of working in a small growing team that offers progression through achievement and attitude rather than moving up a static career ladder.  Please be human, creative and full of energy; resourcefulness, flexibility, individual passions, and confidence mixed with quirkiness are highly valued.

Consulting on a mix of branding, innovation and customer experience projects, you’ll be part of a thriving Health & Wellness practice engaging with patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to drive business decisions for pharmaceutical, biotech, publishing, and healthcare technology clients.

· Experience moderating with both patients and healthcare professionals (KOLs a plus); comfortable adjusting to in-the-moment changes and incorporating team and client feedback

· Ability to identify objectives, design and conduct research (incl. writing proposals, screeners, DGs), and present findings to industry stakeholders, clients and colleagues

· Ability to translate insights into a powerful story that can be adapted to different audiences

· Proven ability to build and foster client relationships with a healthy balance between strategic thinking and scrupulous attention to detail

· Passion for Health and Wellness as a category

· Ability and willingness to travel, including international travel; fluency in another language a bonus
